We continually hear the statement "think outside of the box" which conjures up the memory of the nine dots which need to be connected with 4 lines. This was a demonstration of mentally expanding perceived boundaries.
In my personal journey I continue to hear about the "square peg in the round hole". And for those familiar with my background know, that I don't waste time in that attempt. Instead, I figure out what else can be done with that square peg. This has me labeled in the business community as a divergent thinker. Where I am not opposed to this, I prefer to be a student of critical thinking.
The topic of this post, is introducing critical thinking to two distinctly diverse markets (Video Teleconference, and Digital Signage). One may not see this as a natural synergy. But, I am formulating a strategy where, an integrator such as AVSG, DMS brings these two seemingly different technologies together.
Having experience with Intellectual Property Law, I won't expose too much until some IP steps have been taken. But, those involved with DS might do well to "think outside of the box". A quick look at functionality supported through vendors such as Visix, is just the beginning.
In my opinion.
