Church Technology Visioning

AVSG brings its combination of competencies to enhance the HOW experience. Church's heavily reply on volunteers to manage, operate and maintain a combination of audio, video, lighting and recording assets.

Supporting this segment of the market has its own set of challenges. As we continue to provide information, and education to our customers, one of our core objectives is to ensure that a design is scalable, manageable, and provides the expected experience for the environment.

Recently reading an article in Technologies for Worship Magazine, the author touched on a couple of elements to assist a leader in Technology related to the Arts about AV and lighting in budgeting.

What is interesting to us, is the quantity of consultant/integrators focusing on the "first cost" which is generally responsive to the financial pressures of HOW. When AVSG engages clients we challenge the current point of view, address unacknowledged angst, target strategic problems, provide a business case proven technically, and is proactive in leading forcing issues out into the open.

While our strategy is contrary to the typical "yes-ing", our clients derive a comprehensive long term benefit.

Recently we introduced a large church to the upcoming risk of the upcoming "White Space" in wireless. Reading between the lines this appeared to be "new news".

When dealing with a project of rather large scope within the HOW market, we encourage fiscal responsibility and challenge those in decision making authority to expand their horizons or run the risk of limited performance results, and financial overruns.

To our HOW clients, read earlier posts to gain additional insight.
