I can't seem to get out of the wave of information touting the tremendous impact heading our way on 2/17/09. Just recently in Digital Signage Today were some strong comments from the co-founder of Google. Larry Page in his blog said: “We will soon have 'Wi-Fi on steroids,' since these spectrum signals have much longer range than today's Wi-Fi technology and broadband access can be spread using fewer base stations resulting in better coverage at lower cost.”

Well this only makes sense since they are so very close with Android.


The real trick with the upcoming date, is to truly look in the crystal ball and have a strategy for the merging of IT with Video/Audio distribution and management. Throw these ideas into a blender and add a bit of video content transmission, dare I utter the word Broadcast, with the opening of White-Space.






If these are new terms to you, better get on board FAST.
