AVSG has been supporting and integrating Revolabs wireless microphones since their introduction to the market. As a valued partner, we have been pleased with their responsiveness, and attention to detail. When integration issues arise, their technical team is uniquely qualified and patient to maximize a positive outcome. For those familiar with wireless coordination, this is a stand-out benefit.
Today, we had the opportunity to experience the next generation of Revolabs wireless microphones, demonstrating true HD audio. What truly resonated through the presentation, and physical representation in the product, was the afore mentioned responsiveness, and attention to detail. While new product introductions are normal corse of events in the AV industry, the results can vary accross a wide spectrum. Where many manufactures incorporate a Microsoft strategy, get it out, and refine through updates, Revolabs has hit above 90% on the success-o-meter.

Some of the key features included the ability of the system to scale upto 32 channels of HD audio. This same feature is also capable of being integrated into voice lift, and/or voice reinforcements installations.
For those organizations that have embraced the convergence of Audio and Video systems with the IT networks, you will be pleased to learn that the new HD product is IP addressable. This functionality not only provides ease of obtaining firmware updates, but can be utilizied for system monitoring. Management of monitoring can be tied directly to Crestron or AMX control systems, or be managed independently.
For us integrator/installers we were very pleased with an enhanced frontpanel lcd screen with discrete button control for menu driven settings and configurations. As our organization prides itself in discerning our clients needs with efficient methodlogies in integration solutions, our manager pointed out that Revolabs may want to consider RS232 communictions ports on all of their products for easy integration to control systems. In my opinion, this recommendation deserved a piece of swag.
A further demonstration of their attentiveness to customer demands was embodied in their (2) tier service programs. Their program addressed the criticality, and expiditions nature of having reliable, and functional wireless communications. Revolabs, truly responded to the needs of customers in the program by providing the customer, at their option, to overcome a minor oversight, with a rapid solution. Basically, who wants to have a room scheduled with executives where a battery has expired. Nothing like a couple of thousand dollars buring a hole in someones credibility pocket.
