In an earlier post I was introducing Deep Color display. Today I receive notification of another manufacturer boasting Deep Color. In reading their preliminary information it appears that they have 10bit processing. If my understanding is correct, in order to deliver "True" Deep Color according to DolbyHDR the specifications require 16bit processing. Now, I am certain that this manufacturer delivering a 65" display, even with 10bit @120Hz, is going to drop the jaws of many who enjoy visual candy.
What do you think the prospects are about getting one on demo beside our 103" Panasonic Plasma? Probably as good as me winning an iTouch.
